March Madness Tournament - Winter 2025

THE 4TH ANNUAL MARCH MADNESS COED SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT

RAIN OR SHINE IT'S ON!!!

Date: March 15, 2024 - from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM 
Location: Dewitt Clinton Fields (52nd Street & 11th Avenue)
Fee: $550 per team-15 players max ($40 for each additional player after)

6 available slots- Net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Pawsome Squad's Rescue Organization.

  • Coed Softball - No less than 3 women on the field and batting lineup. Women can bat anywhere in the lineup. 15 players can bat in the lineup. 
  • Schedule -  Top 4 move forward to the Playoffs. Tie breaker goes to Runs Defensed, then Head to Head, then Runs Scored.
  • Playoffs: 1PM Semifinals High Arc; 2PM Finals Lob
  • An official game will either be 6 innings or 45 min. No extra innings (except the Championship Game).
  • ASA rules, but all association bats are allowed.  
  • Balls, bases, & umpire fees are included.
  • Rain or shine - the tournament will be played as long as the NYC Parks Department does not close the fields.
  • NO REFUNDS - this is a fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to charity.

  • What's included in the fee?: 5 guaranteed games. Balls, bases, and ump fees.
  • Where are the games played?: All games will be played at Dewitt Clinton Park (52nd Street & 11th Avenue). Games will run from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • What association bats are allowed?: All association bats are allowed.
  • Mandatory to have a catcher's mask?: Yes
  • How many men and women on the field?: No more than 7 men and 3 women can play a position on the field. Women can bat in any order of the lineup.
  • Are there refunds?: No. Rain or shine, we will play. If it gets canceled, all donations will be submitted to the fundraiser’s cause.
