Halloween Coed Softball Tournament - Fall 2024

We are excited to invite you to the 5th Annual Pawsome Softball Halloween Tournament! Get ready for a day filled with fun, competition, and community spirit, all while supporting a great cause—Pawsome Squad Animal Rescue.

TOURNAMENT DETAILS
**Date:** Saturday, October 26, 2024
**Time:** 10 AM - 3 PM
**Location:** Queensbridge Fields, Vernon Boulevard, Long Island City, NY 11101

We have room for just 6 teams, so be sure to register quickly! 

THE INFO:
**Cost:** $550 per team (up to 15 players; $50 for each additional player) includes games & BBQ
**Individual Agents:** $50 per person, includes games & BBQ
**BBQ:** $50 per person

GAME FORMAT
- Pitching Style: LOB Pitch (4-8ft; no flat pitching)
- Coed teams: 7 men and 3 women fielders
- Guaranteed 3 games: The top 4 teams will move on to the playoffs.
- Each game lasts 6 innings or 45 minutes, whichever comes first.
- ASA rules apply, but all association bats are allowed.
- Balls, bases, and umpire fees are included.

IMPORTANT DATES

Please note that there are **NO REFUNDS** as this is a fundraiser. All proceeds will be donated to charity. Make sure your team is aware of this policy before signing up!

Team Frequently Asked Questions
  • What's included in the fee?: 3 guaranteed games. Balls, bases and ump fees. BBQ
  • Where are the games played?: All games will be played in Queensbridge. Games will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
  • What association bats are allowed?: All association bats are allowed. You must allow other teams to use your bats if they would like to do so.
  • What type of pitching?: Slow lob pitch- must have an arch 4ft-8ft. Think soft toss batting practice
  • Mandatory to have a catcher's mask?: Yes
  • How many men and women on the field?: No more than 7 men and 3 women can play a position on the field.
  • Are there refunds?: No. Rain or shine, we will play. If it gets canceled, all donations will be submitted to the fundraiser’s cause.
